Deputy Governor of the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ), Jide Lewis, says that all banks are expected to be prepared for the increased demand for cash during the upcoming holiday season. “I think during Christmas time, the seasonal increase in demand for currency, would suggest that the banks will need to stock up additional funds,” he said.
