Over $2 million worth of high-yield rice seeds were distributed to local farmers yesterday as part of the Government’s efforts to revitalise this country’s rice industry. It is a project that began under former minister Kazim Hosein and is now gaining momentum under Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Ravi Ratiram.
