Renewable Energy Training Centre To Be Launched

Although Trinidad and Tobago has traditionally been an oil and gas economy, the Government has increasingly focused on diversification projects, one of which is within the renewable energy sector. To support the renewable energy initiative, the T& T Association of Energy Engineers (TTAEE) and The University of the West Indies (The UWI) are collaborating to establish a renewable energy training centre, following funding from the Digicel Foundation and energy giant Shell.
