A meat processing company has emerged victorious in its legal battle over the Value Added Tax (VAT) classification of its products. In a decision delivered on May 14, the Tax Appeal Board (TAB) upheld Heat ‘n’ Eat Ltd’s appeal against the Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) over its refusal to classify its products as zero rated.
